Republic of Moldova debuts at Burning Man with the installation “Flute from the Future”

The Republic of Moldova will participate for the first time in Burning Man 2025, one of the world’s largest international nonconformist art festivals, which takes place in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada, from August 25 to September 2.

Our country will be represented by “Flute from the Future – Naiul Viitorul”, an ecological sound sculpture that reinterprets the Moldovan pan flute in a contemporary form. The installation combines tradition and technology to create a multi-sensory experience, highlighting both Moldova’s cultural heritage and innovative perspectives.

The project is coordinated by creative agency TagMe, which is in charge of creation, logistics, promotion and fundraising. The authors emphasize that the installation offers visitors a sonic journey between roots and the future, presenting Moldova as an authentic source of cultural inspiration.

The participation in Burning Man marks an important step in promoting Moldova as an emerging cultural destination, attracting the attention of the international artistic community.
