The five-star Radisson Blu hotel in Cluj-Napoca, one of the pillars of the local luxury hospitality market, will finalize in November this year a large expansion project, aimed at strengthening its offer in the corporate and leisure segments.
The new wing, currently in the final stages of finishing and equipping, will add 20 suites, a spa, three new conference rooms and a rooftop bar. The project also includes the opening of a new restaurant and the expansion of the Japanese restaurant, Hikari, significantly diversifying the facilities available to guests.
This development complements the hotel’s current capacity of 149 rooms and suites, along with a conference center with a 300-seat main hall and five smaller rooms.
Inaugurated in the summer of 2022 following the complete renovation of the former Sport Hotel, Radisson Blu is the first five-star establishment affiliated to an international brand in Cluj-Napoca, representing a total investment of approximately 26 million euro.
The project’s economic performance is solid. According to public data, the company that operates the hotel, Winners Park Invest, last year recorded a turnover of 38.5 million RON and a net profit of 952 thousand RON.
