Radisson Blu Bucharest Wins Multiple International Awards Following Conference Center Modernization

Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest, the largest five-star hotel complex in Romania, has secured a series of national and international distinctions, recognizing both service quality and recent modernization investments. The awards solidify the hotel’s position in the business and events segment, as a direct consequence of a renovation program for its conference facilities.

At the international level, the hotel was named “Romania’s Leading Business Hotel 2025” for the third consecutive year at the World Travel Awards – Europe Gala Ceremony, held in Sardinia, Italy. Additionally, at the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2025, it earned three awards based on public and industry professional votes: “Best Luxury Hotel & Conference Centre” and “Best Luxury Modern Hotel” in Eastern Europe, as well as “Best Luxury Business Hotel” in Romania.

Recognition also came from the local market, where the conference and event space modernization project was honored. The hotel won the “Commercial Renovation / Redevelopment” category at the Romanian Property Awards 2025 and was shortlisted for “Refurbishment of the Year” at the CIJ Awards Romania 2025. The project, launched in January 2024, involved a 1.6 million euro investment to renovate 12 event rooms, which were equipped with state-of-the-art technology, high-performance AV systems, and smart LED lighting.

According to Vlad Drăgoescu, Partner at Revetas Capital, the property’s investor, these awards validate the hotel’s continuous development strategy. Since the acquisition, Revetas Capital has invested over 30 million euros in the strategic modernization of the Radisson Blu complex, aiming to maintain its leadership position in the Romanian hospitality market.
