On March 22, the Minister of Tourism, Daniel Cadariu, announced that public institutions can begin issuing holiday cards for employees. He also specified that the Government has finalized the legislation regarding the granting of holiday vouchers for this year.
“From our point of view, the ministry’s, we have done our job and I encourage all public institutions to issue them. The legal framework exists, and there are amounts provided in the budget. Additionally, I encourage all economic operators to use holiday vouchers. They have the possibility within the limit of six minimum gross salaries,” Cadariu stated.
For these amounts, economic operators no longer pay social contributions, and they can be deductible from profit tax.
