Oxygen Resort near Red Lake becomes an integrated resort with the opening of the first bungalows

Oxygen Resort, the tourist complex located near Red Lake, has inaugurated its first accommodation units, a key step in its transformation from a leisure center into an integrated mountain destination. The project, developed over five years, is backed by an investment in the order of millions of euros and aims to diversify the offer to cover the leisure, relaxation and business tourism segments.

The current stage of development has included the opening of 18 bungalows, with plans to complete a further 17 units to bring the total capacity to 35. Accommodation rates start from 790 lei per night (about €155.21) for two people. The evolution of the resort started with a restaurant, later expanding with an adventure park, bobsleigh run, ski slope and off-road tours. According to the owner, the opening of the bungalows marks a point of maturation of the project, with the aim of creating one of the most complete mountain destinations in Romania. The expansion project is supported by the Pro Economica Foundation.

In parallel, infrastructure development continues with several projects in advanced stages. Work is underway to complete the reception building, which will centralize the reception, a ticket sales point, a shop selling local products, an equipment rental center and spaces dedicated to conferences and corporate events. Two other major projects are a skybar at the end of the ski slope, scheduled to open in December, and a hotel with premium services and wellness areas, expected to be completed in about a year.
