Over 60% occupancy rate in seaside resorts during the Pentecost mini-holiday

The Pentecost mini-holiday brings a new wave of tourists to the Romanian coast, where an occupancy rate of over 60% is expected between June 6-9. Over 85% of the hotels in the seaside resorts will be open during this period, ready to welcome their guests with attractive offers starting from 87 RON/room/night.

Eforie Nord, Mamaia and Neptun-Olimp are the most popular resorts, and the most popular package is the one that includes bed and breakfast. “All inclusive accommodation options are also sought after, especially by families with children, for whom we have prepared a surprise: this year, bookings that include at least one child will also benefit from a free entrance to the adventure park Jurasica Park Neptun, the only theme park with life-size dinosaurs on the Romanian coast”, adds the agency representative.

On average, tourists book three nights of accommodation, but there are also Romanians who have chosen to extend their stay, so they can access the advantageous rates of the “Coastline for All” program, which becomes active in early June.

The Pentecost mini-holiday is a prelude to the summer season, as many Romanians don’t usually take their vacation until after their children go on school vacation. According to the figures to date, the total number of bookings Romanians have made for the 2025 summer season has increased by around 20 percent since the launch of the Early Booking program last October, compared to the same reference period of October 2023 – May 2024.
