The number of passengers who transited the Henri Coanda and Aurel Vlaicu airports in Bucharest increased in the first half of the year by over 7% compared to the same period last year, the Bucharest National Airports Company announced.
In total, there were 6.34 million passengers and 64,815 aircraft movements, and of these, Henri Coanda Airport recorded 6.33 million passengers and 57,797 aircraft movements.
A growth in the number of aircraft movements was also recorded at the capital’s airports, exceeding the statistics of the first six months of 2017 by 4.76%, according to the Bucharest National Airports Company.
At Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport, 49 airlines currently operate, transporting passengers to 110 destinations.
