Real estate developer One United Properties is expanding its operations in the premium hospitality segment by bringing two international hotel brands, Mondrian and The Hoxton, to Bucharest. The leadership of the company’s hospitality division, represented by Riad Abi Haidar, Partner & CEO, is betting on a luxury concept defined by authenticity, design and quality of experience over traditional opulence.
The Mondrian brand, part of the international portfolio of Ennismore and Accor, is present in cities such as Singapore, Miami and Doha and is positioned as a lifestyle hotel. According to Riad Abi Haidar, the project in Bucharest will emphasize high-quality design that integrates with the local character and community. His vision of contemporary luxury emphasizes the need to offer a distinct experience and emotions, not just high-priced products or services. Another element considered essential in the delivery of a premium experience is the quality of human interactions, with the role of employees considered fundamental. In addition to the Mondrian project, One United Properties has also announced the development of a hotel under The Hoxton brand. It will be located on Academiei Street, close to the Faculty of Architecture in the capital.
