Niki Lauda and Ryanair launch a new low-cost airline, LaudaMotion

LaudaMotion Airline will operate flights from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to Mediterranean destinations.

Niki Lauda will be the company’s director and will oversee the implementation of the strategy aimed at building a low-cost airline that performs financially in Europe.

Ryanair will provide 75% of the project’s financial support and will also contribute six aircraft out of the company’s 21.

Initially, the investment cost will amount to 50 million EUR, and the Irish company will contribute another 50 million USD in the first year of operation.
