Nicolae Demetriade is the new president of ANAT

Nicolae Demetriade, the general manager of the World Travel agency, has been elected president of the National Association of Travel Agencies, ANAT. The mandate is for 2 years.

Nicolae Demetriade aims to expedite the implementation of the new guarantee system for travel packages, in accordance with the requirements of the European Directive, the emergence of the Tourism Law, currently in the draft stage, the application of the 9% VAT rate for travel agencies as well, but also the acceleration of the new regulations regarding personal data protection, in force since May 2018, strengthening the relationship with TAROM and other employer associations in tourism.
