Entrepreneur Flavius Nedelea from Constanta will open a 5-star hotel in Bucharest’s Old Town, with an interior inspired by Peleș Castle. The unit, which will be named NF Palace, will operate in the Chamber of Commerce Palace starting March 2018, following an investment of EUR 500,000.
In 2015, he moved to the Capital and opened a 4-star hotel in the Historic Center, Nf City Hotel.
The entrepreneur has concluded a 20-year lease agreement for the 1st floor of the Chamber of Commerce Palace, where consolidation, renovation, and modernization works on the building have already been initiated.
It will be a 5-star hotel in a royal style; the rooms will have silk-upholstered walls with gold thread and will feature hand-carved solid wood furniture brought from Venice, Nedelea specified.
The hotel will have 22 rooms, including 2 suites, each with its own design, a Romanian-specific restaurant, sauna, and jacuzzi, and 22-23 people will work in the unit. Next to the building, there is a public parking lot, but if necessary, the entrepreneur says he will rent parking spaces in the underground parking at University Square.
Nedelea estimates that in the first year of operation, the hotel will reach a turnover of EUR 500,000.
“I am in discussions to also take over the 3rd floor after the first 6 months. If things work out, we will expand to the 3rd and 4th floors,” Nedelea stated.
At the same time, the entrepreneur is building a resort in the Danube Delta on the Sulina branch, which will be completed next year. The resort will have 4 villas with 22 rooms and will involve an investment of EUR 1 million.
Additionally, Nedelea plans to open a hotel in Predeal, but most likely in 2020.
