The Romanian Government adopted on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, the Decision amending GD no. 263/2001 regarding the arrangement, homologation, maintenance, and operation of ski slopes and leisure ski trails.

This normative act regulates the access of people with special needs to ski slopes, with specific reference to their equipment, and updates the level of fines to increase the awareness of slope administrators and tourists regarding compliance with their obligations.

At the same time, depending on the severity of the violation, the possibility of applying a complementary contraventional sanction alongside the main one is provided, namely the withdrawal of the homologation certificate for the ski slope or leisure ski trail.
