New flights from Romania from October 2025

The airline AnimaWings is expanding the range of destinations it operates from Traian Vuia International Airport in Timisoara.

Starting from October 3, 2025, AnimaWings will operate two weekly flights between Timisoara and Istanbul International Airport – the largest air hub in the western region of Romania and one of the most important worldwide.

This route offers direct access to a vast network of connections to more than 300 destinations in over 120 countries on all continents. It is a major opportunity both for the business community in the West of the country – with the presence of many Turkish-owned companies in the area – and for tourists looking for urban getaways in Istanbul or exotic vacations in destinations such as the Maldives, Seychelles, Zanzibar, Bali, Thailand, Dominican Republic and many others.

Starting October 7, 2025, AnimaWings will also launch a direct route to Dubai, operated once a week. Flights will land at Dubai Al Maktoum Airport (DWC), offering easy access to both the futuristic city in the heart of the UAE and vacation destinations in the Gulf and Asia.
