Movileanu Family to Build Europe’s Largest Water Park in Neptun

The Movileanu family, who controls the Mera hotels on the southern coast, will begin construction next spring in Neptun on the largest water park in Romania and one of the largest in Europe.
The project will span 37 hectares and will include an aquapark, a river, commercial spaces, volcanoes, leisure areas, and a hotel with 200 rooms.
A prehistoric river will be set up within the park, designed to look exactly like those in cartoons, along with volcanoes and various landforms. Bars, restaurants, commercial spaces, and performance areas will be built. Additionally, a 200-room hotel, rated 4 or 5 stars, will be erected in the park.
Construction will begin in February-March next year, and the first phase of the project will conclude in May 2022. The second phase, involving the hotel construction, will take place between 2022 and 2024.
