Michelin Chef Theodor Falser invited for two culinary events at JW Marriott Bucharest

The JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel organized two exclusive culinary events at the end of September, with chef Theodor Falser, a chef from Alto Adige, South Tyrol, awarded with a Michelin star for 10 consecutive years, as guest chef. The evenings, held in the hotel’s restaurants, promoted the concept of sustainable gastronomy and brought together journalists, content creators and culinary enthusiasts.

Chef Theodor Falser is recognized for his “Taste Nature” philosophy and is considered a promoter of sustainable gastronomy in Europe. In addition to the Michelin award at his restaurant Johannestube, Falser holds 17 Gault & Millau points and is included in La Liste – Top 1000 Restaurants in the World. The first event took place on September 24 in the JW Steakhouse restaurant and included a cooking demonstration in an open kitchen. The three-course menu, created in collaboration with Executive Chef Nicolae Lica, included dishes such as raw tuna “spaghetti” with fermented tomato juice and caviar, and Wagyu Antricot with red curry foam.

The second evening took place on September 27 at Cucina – The Italian Kitchen, where Chef Falser collaborated with Chef Francesco Castrovillari. Guests dined on a five-course dinner menu, which included lobster salad, Carnaroli risotto and Black Angus beef tenderloin “alla Rossini”, among others. The experience was complemented by a musical moment performed by sopranos. Among the guests present at the two events were journalists Irina Gologan, Raluca Hagiu and Andreea Remețan, and content creators Leo Dumitru and Basic Jackpot.
