Carolina Hospitality SRL is developing a Moxy by Marriott-branded hotel in Brasov, designed on Calea Făgărașului. The building will have a basement, ground floor and 6 floors, with a total area of about 8,100 square meters.
The 3-star-rated unit will offer 174 rooms, common spaces and a walkable terrace. The plan calls for more than 35 parking spaces, landscaping and green areas that will occupy nearly 28% of the 3,656-square-meter site.
The company obtained the urban planning certificate at the end of 2024 and submitted the documentation for the approval of the Detailed Urban Plan.
The Moxy brand, part of the Marriott group, appeals in particular to young travelers through modern design and affordable services. Brasov, which attracts more than 1.5 million tourists a year, is becoming an increasingly competitive market for hotel investments. In Romania, there is already a Moxy hotel in Bucharest’s Old Town.
