The 14th edition of the Ivan Patzaichin – Rowmania Festival will take place between August 29 and September 2, 2025, in Tulcea, Mile 23 and on the ecotourism trail “Ivan’s Delta” (54 km).
Main program:
- Tulcea (29-30 August): rowing competitions, Rock’n’Row concerts, exhibitions, gastronomic fair of the Local Gastronomic Points, theater, open-air movies and workshops for children.
- Danube Delta (August 31 – September 2): the “United Waters of Romania” Caravan, with more than 60 boats and 100 participants, follows the ecotouristic route “Ivan’s Delta”, with stops and camping sites, until Mila 23, where it ends with events at the Ivan Patzaichin Museum – Center of Community Innovation.
Special attractions:
- Food fair with traditional recipes and local stories.
- “Ivan’s Evening”, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
- Presentation of the documentary “IVAN – The man with roots in the waters”.
- Conferences on climate resilience, responsible tourism and sustainable development.
The festival combines water sports, multicultural local communities and educational experiences for all ages, strengthening the Delta brand as a unique ecotourism and cultural destination.
