In 2017, the Romanian seaside will focus on attracting foreign tourists from the UK and Poland

Corina Martin, president of the Danube Delta Littoral Association (ALDD) and president of the Federation of Tourism Promotion Associations in Romania (FAPT), stated that the United Kingdom and Poland are the target markets for attracting foreign tourists in 2017, alongside the diversification of domestic and international flight offerings to and from Constanta.
“The number of foreign tourists choosing the Romanian seaside has increased significantly this year. We are interested in growing incoming figures because we are doing well on the national market. We always have many Romanian tourists choosing our coast. The project with Israel proved to be a success, a project in which ALDD invested an entire promotion campaign and funds from the promotion tax. London, and England in general, is the second market of interest at this moment. One of the novelties is the launch of a dedicated product – Mamaia bachelor party, specifically for British bachelors,” stated Corina Martin.
This autumn, ALDD will organize an infotrip for British travel agents and event organizers, for bachelor parties, but not only.
In order to continue the strategy of developing air traffic at Mihail Kogalniceanu International Airport, ALDD has launched, together with the airport management, the “From Constanta to the World” campaign, to diversify the offer of domestic and international flights from and to Constanta, starting in 2017.
