Hotel Savoy in Timisoara is the first hotel in Romania to use the integrated Infor HMS and Worldline/SIX Payment Services solution. The unit features 54 rooms, a restaurant, two conference rooms, and a cocktail bar.

Vasile Birzava, Accommodation Manager of Hotel Savoy in Timisoara, stated that guests have largely adopted digital solutions and, in addition to a pleasant stay, prefer reception operations and payment processes to be fast and seamless. For this reason, the hotel chose TCNET as its technological partner, integrating the Infor HMS hotel management system with the Worldline/SIX Payment Services solution.

 Vasile Birzava requested that the new system bring together all information at a central level. For any hotel manager, this means: less effort, fewer processes, and less paper. Another requirement was that payment card data should no longer be stored locally and all data should be encrypted.

 The provided solution is cCredit, an efficient software terminal for cashless payment transactions, which offers a uniform and clear payment infrastructure that controls the entire card payment process safely, quickly, and reliably.

Thus, the hotel’s Infor Hotel Management System (Infor HMS) reception system was connected via a dedicated bidirectional interface to the cCredit Hospitality Gateway from Worldline / SIX Payment Services.

The connection between the systems simplifies the payment process and avoids incorrect operations. This also saves time for hotel guests and creates the premises for the most pleasant stay possible. Thanks to the automatic data transfer, the hotel can reduce administrative processes at the reception and the financial accounting department, with no limitations regarding the acceptance of all major payment methods.

For example, if a room is booked online, payment information is encrypted via the payment service provider (PSP) Saferpay and transmitted via tokenization to Hotel Savoy’s PMS system, Infor HMS. At check-out, the hotel system triggers the payment through the cCredit payment terminal using the stored token. A new presentation of the card is not necessary. All payments are processed centrally by Worldline/SIX Payment Services. Bookings and sales come together perfectly in a single system. Thanks to cCredit, the hotel can tokenize and securely save the data of card transactions performed by customers.
