Hotel Cautis in Azuga is up for sale again

BRD is putting Hotel Cautis in Azuga, a 4-star establishment, up for auction again after four years, in an attempt to recover the credit granted to the operating company, which has since entered insolvency. The bank has accepted only a slight reduction in the starting price, from EUR 2.9 million, requested in the spring of 2014, to EUR 2.7 million at present.

This time, the hotel is being offered for sale through the judicial administrator.

The hotel operator entered insolvency in 2016 with total debts of RON 12.3 million, of which RON 11.2 million represents a loan contracted from BRD.

Hotel Cautis in Azuga has been closed since the spring of 2015, features 35 rooms and suites, and is built on a plot of land measuring 1,316 sqm, with a ground footprint of 703 sqm.
