Green Village: 18% increase in turnover in the first nine months of 2017

Green Village Resort in the Danube Delta, managed by Dragos Anastasiu, recorded a turnover of 2 million EUR in the first nine months of this year, 18% higher than the same period in 2016.
At the same time, the number of Romanian and foreign tourists who visited Green Village increased by 11% between April and September 2017, reaching 9,800 people. The number of overnight stays at Green Village exceeded 31,340, an 11% increase compared to the same period in 2016.
Most of the tourists who chose to vacation at Green Village were from Romania, Germany, the USA, and Austria.
The average occupancy rate of Green Village in the first three quarters of 2017 was 71%.
For this year, Green Village estimates it will record a turnover of 2.2 million EUR, a 22% increase compared to 2016.
This year, investments of approximately 350,000 EUR were made at Green Village, focused mainly on improving services.
The season opened at Green Village this year in April and will end after New Year’s Eve, at the beginning of next year.
