Funtrip.World travel agency’s license has been revoked

Representatives of the General Directorate for Authorization and Control in Tourism within the Ministry of Tourism conducted an inspection on February 1st at the headquarters of the Funtrip.World travel agency. Thus, it was found that the travel agency no longer operates at the headquarters for which the tourism license was issued; consequently, a findings report was drawn up. After 15 days from the date of receiving the notification by registered letter, the tourism license is revoked ex officio.
To date, 31 complaints have been received at the Ministry of Tourism from tourists regarding the non-provision of tourism services by the agency.
On February 9, 2017, the agency announced on a social network that it was in insolvency proceedings, but promised that people would be compensated by the insurer.
