Babeș-Bolyai University (UBB) in Cluj-Napoca has received approval to acquire the Opera Plaza Hotel building to transform it into the headquarters of the Faculty of Law. The acquisition was approved on June 30 through a Government Decision.
The institution’s rector stated that UBB is facing a major deficit of academic spaces, both for education and research, after the number of students increased by 6% last year compared to 2019.
