Bucuresti Turism announced as early as 2013 that it would transform a portion of the Centre Ville rooms into the first Park Inn branded hotel in Romania, classified at 3 stars.
Carlson Rezidor announced that Park Inn by Radisson Bucharest Hotel & Residence will feature 210 rooms and suites, a lobby-lounge with a bar, a restaurant, four conference rooms, and 80 parking spaces.
The Park Inn by Radisson Bucharest Hotel & Residence will be operated by the Rezidor Hotel Group and is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year.
At the same time, the hotel chain Starwood & Resorts is entering the Romanian market with the Sheraton brand, after signing a franchise agreement with Grand Plaza Hotel, the former Howard Johnson in Bucharest.
Sheraton Bucharest Hotel will have 270 rooms, two restaurants, a bar, and a club lounge.
