Accor has signed a management agreement with ASIC, a strategic alliance between Ion Catutoiu, a developer operating in multiple industries, and Andrei Stanciu, CEO of Somet Group, a construction company, for a 150-room hotel intended for long-term stays. The hotel will be affiliated with the Novotel Living brand and will be the first of its kind to open in Eastern Europe.
The future hotel will feature 150 units, various room types with kitchenettes, and a flexible workspace.
The ground floor will take the form of a social hub, a space designed for socializing where both guests and members of the local community can meet, dine, and enjoy a drink in an open space where healthy food will also be available in a grab & go system. Other facilities include a “cinema” room, a modular space dedicated to meetings, a fitness room, spacious parking, and a beautiful outdoor courtyard with greenery, intended for outdoor urban events for both hotel guests and the nearby community.
Novotel Living Bucharest Baneasa is positioned across from the largest commercial area in Bucharest, Baneasa Shopping City.
The hotel is the first of its kind in Eastern Europe and will open in the third quarter of 2023.
