First holiday vouchers have been issued

The first holiday vouchers have been issued, after the project encountered problems related to support, as well as the percentage that had to be allocated to issuers, stated the President of ANT, Anca Pavel Nedea, in a press conference held on October 29.
The ANT representative showed the first contracts for holiday vouchers, both signed by the employer with the issuer—we have here a hotel company and an agency—as well as signed between hoteliers and issuers.
These involve Hotel Ambasador and the Eximtur travel agency.
The methodological norms regarding the granting of holiday vouchers were published in August in the Official Gazette, the normative act establishing that both employees in the budgetary sector and those in the private sector can receive holiday vouchers within the limit of six gross minimum salaries.
Holiday vouchers are value coupons issued by units authorized by the Ministry of Public Finance, which are granted to persons employed through an individual employment contract and can only be used in Romanian tourism.
