Ferrucio Group invests 5 million euro in a new tourist complex in Târgșoru Vechi

Tourism is taking shape near the Turnu Monastery in Târgșoru Vechi, Prahova county, with support from the Just Transition Fund.

The Ferrucio Group, owned by Prahova entrepreneur Ninel Aurelian Alexandru, continues to diversify its activities and invest heavily in tourism in Prahova County. The company’s latest project is the construction of a tourist complex consisting of 50 villas and a hotel in Târgșoru Vechi, close to Turnu Monastery, a historical and spiritual landmark for the region.

The investment, estimated at €5 million, will be carried out through the Just Transition program, a European mechanism dedicated to economic conversion in areas affected by the energy transition process.

The new project complements other Ferrucio Group initiatives supported by the Just Transition Fund (FTJ), such as the construction of a 31-room, four-star hotel and spa center, also in Prahova County. Both these investments contribute to the sustainable conversion of the local economy towards cultural and recreational tourism, in a context where the region is looking for viable alternatives to traditional industries.

Romania benefits in total from 2.13 bn. EUR 2.13 billion from the JHTF, targeted to counties affected by industrial and energy restructuring, including Prahova. Ferrucio Group’s projects are in line with the area’s sustainable development strategy, transforming the local tourism potential into a concrete direction for economic growth.
