Eurolines estimates a turnover of 100 million EUR this year

This year, the Eurolines Group celebrates 20 years of activity in the Romanian transport and tourism market and estimates it will record a turnover of 100 million EUR, unlike 2014, when it recorded a turnover of 94 million EUR, an increase of 26% compared to 2013. Out of the total 94 million EUR, 67 million EUR represents the turnover of the group’s first company, Touring Europabus, which for this year aims for a turnover of approximately 76 million EUR, an increase of 13%.
The most important business lines of Touring Europabus are: the sale of tourism packages, distributed through the TUI TravelCenter and Eurolines agency networks, up 44% compared to 2013; Flight tickets, up 24% compared to 2013; International passenger transport with Eurolines coaches, up 15% compared to 2013.
Nova Travel, the group’s tour operator specialized in outgoing, recorded growth of 29% in 2014 compared to 2013, reaching 7.8 million EUR. For this year, the company estimates a turnover increase of 24%, up to 9.7 million EUR.
Danubius Travel, the group’s tour operator specialized in incoming & business travel, recorded a 44% increase in turnover in 2014, up to 9.8 million EUR. 
Rombus Transport, the company that owns the Eurolines coach fleet, recorded a turnover of 4.5 million EUR, and this year it aims for a 9% increase in turnover.
This year, the Eurolines group will invest in the hotel sector, the first announced investment being the acquisition of the Green Village resort in Sfântu Gheorghe, Danube Delta, a transaction whose value is in the millions of euros and whose investment budget for the first year exceeds 500,000 EUR. 
The complex reopened its doors in May, with the estimated turnover for the first year of operation as part of the Group being 1 million EUR.
