Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB), together with Alpha Rocas, has inaugurated the third business lounge following a €210,000 investment, located in the future non-Schengen area of the departures terminal at Henri Coandă International Airport.
Valentin Iordache, Communication Director of the Bucharest Airports Company, stated that last year the airport recorded an increase from approximately 150,000 to over 175,000 business passengers compared to 2013. This is why, along with the increase in passenger numbers, the development of a new lounge with business-type services is necessary, Iordache specified.
Every month, approximately 14,500 passengers enter a business lounge at AIHCB. The three business lounges are also open to other passengers for a fee of €37 for 4 hours.
Henri Coandă International Airport has a total of five lounges: one official, one VIP, and three business.
In 2014, Henri Coandă Airport recorded passenger traffic of 8,317,168 and 91,788 aircraft movements.
In total, Henri Coandă and Bucharest Băneasa-Aurel Vlaicu International Airports reached a record number of 8,321,858 passengers and 102,048 aircraft movements.
