Apulum Turism, a company indirectly controlled by the family of businessman Raul Ciurtin, the creator of the Zuzu brand, is developing an event center and a 5-star hotel in Cluj-Napoca, with an investment of €10 million.

The complex, which will include a 50-room hotel rated at 5 stars, 2 event halls, and a spa, will be completed in the second half of 2022.

The Ciurtin family purchased the land approximately two and a half years ago.

Apulum Turism was founded in 2019 and is owned by Tania Privee, a company equally controlled by Lorena Beatrice Ciurtin and Tania Elena Ciurtin, the wife and daughter, respectively, of entrepreneur Raul Ciurtin.

Half of the amount required for the development of this complex will be covered by state aid granted in 2020.

The design and landscaping contract was awarded to the Cluj-based company Eco Garden Construct.

The tourism and leisure center, spanning 33,151 sqm, will include an indoor pool with a VIP area and an outdoor pool, a spa and accommodation center, tennis courts, a terrace, an event hall, a ceremonial chapel, and a parking lot with 142 spaces.
