Travel agency Destine Holidays S.R.L., in partnership with Zonk Works S.R.L., has announced the completion of the digitalization and innovation project “Connecting Destinations,” a total investment of EUR 766.99 thousand supported by European funds. The initiative aimed to increase the company’s competitiveness in the South-Muntenia Region’s tourism market through the adoption of artificial intelligence and the strengthening of digital and cybersecurity infrastructure.

The project, carried out between April 29, 2025, and August 28, 2026, received a non-reimbursable grant of EUR 496.43 thousand through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), Component 9, under the call managed by the Ministry of Investments and European Projects. Following the investment, the company deployed an AI-based integrated IT platform designed to personalize offers and optimize internal workflows. The implementation produced two innovative tourism products, modernized four core business processes, and secured ISO/IEC 27001 certification alongside meeting seven DESI digital intensity criteria.
