The 4-star Crystal Hotel in Sovata Resort was inaugurated this month, July 2023, with its construction starting in 2021. Part of the financing was supported by the Pro Economica Alapítvány Foundation.
Crystal Hotel is located in the center of Sovata resort, 270 m from Lake Ursu, featuring 104 rooms of various capacities and private parking, a restaurant combining traditional cuisine with international recipes, a SPA and wellness center with multiple types of pools and saunas, plus a fitness room.
Guests will be able to enjoy therapeutic services starting in September this year. The hotel will offer electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, as well as inhalation procedures, paraffin wraps, galvanic baths, therapeutic massage, and a salt room.
Crystal Hotel is also intended for business tourists, corporate groups, or those looking for modern event spaces. The unit has three conference rooms where it can host various conferences, workshops, corporate presentations, or private events.
Nine other hotels are set to be inaugurated in Covasna, Mureș, and Harghita.
