Corvin Castle enters a new restoration phase with European funds

The European funding for Corvin Castle in Hunedoara is provided through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), with an investment of approximately 20 million RON. With the help of these new European funds, the castle’s interior and exterior paintings will be restored.

The new restoration stage targets the exterior frescoes on the Mace Tower, which have lost their original coloring, the Old Gate Tower and the Deserted Tower, the basement area of the Knights’ Hall, the White Bastion, and the Noble Kitchen.
