Cocktail Holidays: 2% turnover growth in 2016

The travel agency Cocktail Holidays recorded a turnover of 15 million EUR last year, an increase of 2% compared to the previous year, and for this year, the company estimates maintaining the growth trend recorded in recent years and relies on consolidation in the travel market.
Also, the number of tourists who used the Cocktail Holidays agency increased by 5%, to over 21,000 tourists, and the preferred destinations were Greece, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Montenegro, and Turkey. A 5% increase was also recorded in the segment of organized circuits in Portugal, Israel, Scandinavia, Thailand, Turkey, Morocco. 10% increases in demand were recorded for social packages, with no age limit, but also for exotic vacations where Romanians paid an average of 1,760 EUR/person for vacations in Madeira, Zanzibar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and the Maldives.
For this year, the tour operator estimates a higher growth in sales due to the granting of holiday vouchers worth 1,450 RON for each public sector employee.
