Christian Tour: 85% of Romanians at Romexpo Tourism Fair bought summer vacations

Over 85% of Romanians who bought vacations at the Tourism Fair held between November 17-20 at Romexpo preferred summer stays abroad, and only 15% chose Christmas and New Year packages, according to data presented by the Christian Tour travel agency.
The agency sold vacations for over 6,500 tourists at the Tourism Fair, nearly 4 times more than at the autumn 2015 edition. The most sought-after packages were Early Booking stays for next summer.
At the top of the most requested destinations in the Early Booking 2017 offer are Antalya, the islands of Crete, Corfu, or Thassos, but also destinations in Spain – Tenerife and Mallorca.
Last year, Christian Tour recorded a turnover of over 70 million EUR, a figure that ranks it first among travel agencies in Romania.
