The works on the Călărași Tourist Port, a strategic investment of approximately €17.08 million, have been completed, marking the conclusion of the Borcea Branch tourism development project. The project, carried out through the collaboration between the Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism (MEDAT) and the Călărași County Council, aims to create a modern leisure infrastructure to support the region’s economic development.

The new port has a capacity of 250 boats and offers complete facilities, including pontoons, administrative and commercial spaces, a repair shop, and relaxation areas.
