Business Community Expected to Get Involved in Promoting Romania

The interim president of the National Authority for Tourism, Mirela Matichescu, stated that the business community is expected to get involved, starting in June 2015, through a working group designated by industry representatives, in promoting Romania as a tourist destination.
Thus, a number of 5 – 7 representatives of the private sector could get involved with proposals and projects for promoting Romania, to the extent that ANT will have funds available.
“I want to discuss concrete projects with this working group that will also participate in the preparation meetings for the Tourism Advisory Council sessions. We believe that in this way we will be able to harness the experience and resources of individuals with experience in the tourism field and present to the members of the Advisory Council projects and initiatives based on the viewpoint of industry representatives,” stated the interim president of ANT.
