On February 15, at the Brasov City Hall, the twinning document between Brasov and the city of Linz in Austria was signed.

The two cities are similar, modern, with exceptional economic and cultural development, stated the Vice Mayor of Linz, Dr. Christiana Dolezal. She specified that following visits to Brasov, she observed many common points between the localities, such as industry, cultural, educational, and social projects.

The Vice Mayor of Linz specified that these partnerships lead to the development of both signatory cities and hopes they will collaborate in sectors related to tourism, sports, university, and economy.
