Brașov Awarded Special ‘County of the Year 2024’ Title at Destination of the Year 2024

Brașov has received the special award for the tourist county of the year during the Destination of the Year 2024 Gala.

Destination of the Year 2024 was awarded to the municipality of Sibiu, while the special ‘County of the Year 2024’ award was won by Brașov County, thanks to the highest number of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place rankings obtained by destinations within Brașov across the competition categories.

Brașov County had nominations in 11 out of the 12 categories.

The Special Award for the county with the most winning destinations this year was claimed by Brașov County, which hosts seven award-winning destinations.

Leading positions were also held by the counties of Sibiu, Harghita, Suceava, and Hunedoara.
