By accessing the “Check Tourism Company” (Verifică firmă turism) section within the InfoCons app, consumers can search for information using the name of the economic operator.
Through the InfoCons app, tourists can access the following information:
- Name and address;
- Unit type;
- Category type;
- Number of spaces;
- Number of beds/seats;
- Locality type;
- Component locality type;
- Component locality;
- Type of economic operator;
- Economic operator name;
- Trade Register number;
- Classification certificate number;

If the searched economic operator has a revoked or canceled license, consumers will be alerted by an exclamation mark and red-colored text.
According to InfoCons, there are currently 21,177 authorized accommodation units of various types in Romania, as follows:

Additionally, for 2,943 accommodation units, the classification certificate has been canceled, and for six others, the classification certificate has been revoked.
There are 2,845 licensed travel agencies in Romania. Currently, 59 travel agencies have had their licenses canceled, and six agencies have had their licenses revoked.
Classified tourist reception structures with public catering functions number 8,233. There are also seven such structures whose classification has been revoked and 1,764 structures whose licenses have been canceled.
