The Romanian airline AnimaWings, part of Memento Group, will launch from March 23, 2026 direct flights on the Bucharest – Geneva route, with a frequency of three flights per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The operator thus becomes the only airline connecting Romania to Geneva, a city recognized as an international hub for business, diplomacy and global conferences.
Tickets are available now, with fares starting from €99.99 each way in AnimaONE class, which includes 8 kg cabin baggage, 4 kg personal item, free seat selection and online or offline check-in. Flights will be operated with Airbus A220-300 aircraft configured with 137 seats, including 12 in Business Class. Passengers choosing this class will benefit from premium service and personalized catering, while all travelers will be able to order a variety of menus, including gourmet.
“Geneva is one of the most important international centers for business, diplomacy and global conferences, as well as a connecting point for the large Romanian community in Switzerland. It is a strategic step in the expansion of the AnimaWings network “said Marius Pandel, the company’s president.
The new route is part of a wider expansion plan. From this fall, AnimaWings is adding 12 new international routes, connecting Romania with major destinations such as Munich, Prague, Sofia, Tel Aviv, Istanbul and Dubai.
The expansion is backed by a modern fleet of Airbus A220-300s, efficient and comfortable aircraft. The company has already taken delivery of the fifth aircraft of a 12-unit order, to be delivered by the end of 2026.
Founded in 2020, AnimaWings offers three classes of service – Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy – and is thus consolidating its position as a major player on the regional market, with the ambition to connect Romania to key hubs in Europe and the Middle East.
