Accor and Orbis Group announced development plans for the Romanian market

 

Romania is a key market for Accor and its strategic partner in Eastern Europe, Orbis Group. They intend to develop 10 more hotels, which will bring 1,450 new rooms to the market by 2022.
In 2018, Orbis acquired Mercure Bucharest Unirii for EUR 11 million.

Since 2017, Accor has been investing in co-working in partnership with Bouygues Immobilier through the NextDoor brand, recently rebranded as Wojo. Wojo is a ready-to-use co-working space concept offering 3 types of modules: Wojo Spots – a light version of collaboration spaces for hotels, Wojo Corners, and Wojo Sites, which are independent co-working spaces. 

Wojo is a popular and renowned co-working brand in France, and development plans include 1,200 Wojo addresses in Europe by the end of 2020, which could include Bucharest.
