Transilvania Trek has signed a franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide for the operation of the Beliș-Fântânele hotel under the Hampton by Hilton brand.
The unit was acquired by the Transilvania Trek group from UNITA Turism in March. The current hotel facilities will undergo a complete renovation process and will return to the market in the autumn of 2025 under the name Hampton by Hilton Beliș – Fântânele, featuring 70 rooms.
Hampton by Hilton Beliș – Fântânele will be the second property operated under a Hilton Worldwide brand for the Transilvania Trek group of companies, following the opening, in 2017, of the DoubleTree by Hilton Cluj – City Plaza hotel.
Transilvania Trek is a group of companies with private Romanian capital, headquartered in Cluj – Napoca and active in the field of investments and hotel operations. It has active and developing projects in Cluj and Alba, focusing on the reintegration of properties with unique potential into the tourism circuit, either through position (Hampton by Hilton Beliș and DoubleTree by Hilton Cluj-City Plaza) or history (Zlatna Castle).
The Fântânele resort, at an altitude of 1,050 meters, is located 60 kilometers from Cluj-Napoca, between the Gilău and Vlădeasa Mountains, on the shores of the Beliș – Fântânele reservoir.
