15% Increase in the Number of Romanian Tourists Going on Cruises This Year
The number of Romanian tourists who will go on cruises this year will increase by about 15%, from 8,000 last year to over 9,000, estimates the general manager of Croaziere.net, Ioan Basea.
This sector was also affected by attacks and terrorist threats, but without an impact on sales, says Basea.
The best-selling cruises are also the cheapest, at prices starting from 300 EUR/person, excluding taxes. The average rate is 100 – 150 EUR/day per person for mass-market lines.
Croaziere.net represents 25 cruise lines and covers 80-85% of the market.
