Low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced that it will open its 28th base in Larnaca this July, where it will allocate two Airbus A320 aircraft.
Along with the establishment of the new base, Wizz Air announced 10 new routes from Larnaca to Athens, Thessaloniki, Billund, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Memmingen, Karlsruhe / Baden Baden, Suceava, Turku, and Wroclaw.
Additionally, Wizz Air announced that several routes from Romania remain suspended due to the extension of travel restrictions imposed by Romanian authorities to the respective destination countries. Thus, flights to Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom will remain suspended until June 16 inclusive.
