Wizz Air opens another base in Romania, in Iași

Low-cost airline Wizz Air will open its 23rd base in Iași on July 1, 2016, and will allocate an A320 aircraft to this base.
The new aircraft will increase the number of routes served from Iași to eight and will triple the seat capacity to 265,000 in 2016. 
Wizz Air will operate five new routes from Iași to Bologna, Catania, Larnaca, Rome Ciampino, and Tel Aviv, starting July 1, initially with a frequency of two weekly flights, except for the Iași-Bologna route, which will be operated three times per week. 
Frequencies for existing popular flights from Iași to London Luton and Milan Bergamo will be increased. 
Wizz Air offers a total of 106 routes from Romania to 16 countries from eight airports.
