Low-cost airline Wizz Air is launching 8 new routes from Vienna to Brussels, Tallinn, Burgas, Constanta, Rhodes, Heraklion, Zakynthos, and Marrakech.
Routes to Brussels will start on July 1, 2020; those to Tallinn, Rhodes, and Heraklion will start on July 2. Routes to Burgas and Constanta will be operational from July 3, and from July 4, the route from Vienna to Zakynthos will also become operational. From October 27, Wizz Air will begin operating the Vienna – Marrakech route.
At the same time, Wizz Air announced 5 new routes from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Budapest and Bucharest starting June 2020, and to Cluj-Napoca, Katowice, and Sofia starting September 2020, at fares of 59.99 EUR one way, provided that aviation activities resume in the respective countries.
Flights from Bucharest will start on June 3 on Wednesdays and Sundays until September 30, and after that, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flights from Cluj-Napoca will be launched on September 16 and will be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays.
