Wizz Air Indefinitely Suspends Several Routes to and from Romania

The low-cost airline Wizz Air has adjusted its route network and decided to indefinitely suspend several routes to and from Romania.

According to data from the booking system, Wizz Air will no longer resume flights on the following routes:

  • Bacau – Memmingen;
  • Bucharest – Rhodes;
  • Bucharest – Cagliari;
  • Bucharest – Bergen;
  • Bucharest – Warsaw;
  • Iasi – Birmingham.

Starting January 9, 2022, the company will no longer operate the Suceava – Doncaster flight, and from March 27, 2022, it will cease operations on the Bucharest – Aqaba route.

Additionally, 10 other routes will not be resumed until the fall or winter of 2022:

  • Cluj Napoca – Frankfurt HHN / suspended until August 2022;
  • Cluj Napoca – Hamburg / suspended until November 2022;
  • Cluj Napoca – Baden Baden / suspended until November 2022;
  • Cluj Napoca – Chania / suspended until August 2022;
  • Cluj Napoca – Mykonos / suspended until August 2022;
  • Cluj Napoca – Zakynthos / suspended until August 2022;
  • Cluj Napoca – Palma de Mallorca / suspended until August 2022;
  • Cluj Napoca – Liverpool / suspended until August 2022;
  • Constanta – Rome FCO / suspended until October 2022;
  • Satu Mare – Rome FCO / suspended until October 2022.
