Update: Traffic Commission Approval for DoubleTree by Hilton Brașov City Centre

The former BCR headquarters in Brașov’s Civic Center was purchased in 2021 by Venus Crown Residence Estate, managed by Victor Dogot and Serghei Munteanu, and owned by the Turkish company VVV Cons Insaat Ve Turizm Ticaret Anonim Sirketi. The investors’ intention was to set up a hotel, which will be operated under the DoubleTree by Hilton brand.

The project has received the necessary approval from the Traffic Commission for obtaining the building permit.

The hotel is set to feature a swimming pool, SPA, casino, commercial areas, services, conference rooms, a restaurant, and a bar. According to the project, the lower building will be extended with mezzanine levels 1 and 2 to accommodate the pool, and an extension will also be executed on the side of the top floor of the high-rise structure.

The investment in the new 150-room hotel was estimated at EUR 21 million.
