Unita Turism Puts Two Hotels Up for Sale

Josef Goschy

Businessman Josef Goschy intends to sell two hotels, one in Turnu Severin and the other in Tulcea, for €3 million each. Simultaneously, Goschy is putting up for sale a 63,000 sqm plot of land in the Cluj resort of Fântânele, for which he expects to obtain €5 million.

The Traian Hotel in Turnu Severin has 280 rooms and is rated 2 stars, with an asking price of €3 million, while the Egreta Hotel in Tulcea is also rated 2 stars and has 100 rooms. The asking price is also €3 million.

At 87 years old, Josef Goschy, the owner of the Unita Turism hotel chain, works and makes plans as if he were 25. Although, theoretically, he handed over all 17 hotels to his twin grandsons—who were 27 at the time—three years ago, he has not retired from the business.
